The Parcel and Postal Technology International Awards 2023 have recognised Cleveron 354 – a battery-powered parcel locker, placing it on the shortlist for the Last-Mile Delivery Innovation of the Year category. This award acknowledges companies that have taken substantial steps towards transforming the final phase of delivery, a critical aspect in today’s rapidly evolving postal landscape.

Cleveron 354 stands out for its 24/7 online accessibility, a unique feature for battery-powered lockers. It also boasts a significantly smaller CO₂ lifetime footprint, approximately twenty times smaller than traditional grid-powered lockers. Thanks to its highly efficient energy management, Cleveron 354 matches the capabilities of grid-dependent lockers for an excellent user experience. With Cleveron’s battery-powered locker, customers can effortlessly retrieve their parcels by simply entering a code on the PIN pad, eliminating the need for a dedicated mobile application. The locker operator receives real-time updates about their parcel lockers, ensuring continuous monitoring. Cleveron 354 allows companies to expand the independent last-mile delivery network and streamline parcel management.

The Parcel and Postal Technology International awards, now in their 15th year, attracted a record number of nominations, reflecting the continued strength of the postal sector and its growing ability to innovate and diversify. The results of the awards will be announced at the Parcel & Post Expo in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on October 24th 2023.

The Last-Mile Delivery Innovation of the Year category covers solutions for including Pick-Up Drop-Off (PUDO) points, lockers, doorstep delivery, cutting-edge handheld technologies, and streamlined return processes.
