2024 was a transformative year for Cleveron as we strengthened our commitment to innovation, expanded our global reach, and solidified our role as a trusted partner for the world’s largest retailers. At Cleveron, we’re not just building parcel lockers – we’re reshaping the future of last-mile delivery with solutions that meet the challenges of an evolving world.
1. Pioneering product development: meeting tomorrow’s needs today
This year, we focused on designing solutions that redefine what’s possible in automated parcel management:
- Cleveron 355: Unlocking oversized parcel logistics
The Cleveron 355 represents a leap forward for retailers and logistics providers managing large items like furniture, DIY tools, and household appliances. This product originated from listening to our partners and understanding the critical need for efficient oversized parcel solutions. With its modular design and ease of deployment, the Cleveron 355 delivers both cost-effectiveness and customer convenience. In November 2024, this solution for a major home furnishing retailer was nominated for 5 categories and won the Omnichannel Retail Initiative of the year at the Retail Technology Innovation Hub awards. - Display screen on battery-powered lockers
Our battery-powered lockers reduce the barriers of traditional infrastructure alternatives for both urban centres and remote locations. By having a grid-free placement, these lockers replace all functionalities of a conventional locker, which gives a great customer experience. Being connected to the internet, the battery-powered lockers have livestream data to manage operations better. In 2024, we partnered with customers to deploy these lockers in areas previously underserved by automation, bridging logistical gaps with innovation. We also launched a new version of Cleveron 354 with a display screen.

2. Closer to Customers and Deeper Market Insights
At Cleveron, we believe that technology has the power to connect people and commerce like never before.
- Investment in a global sales team
We evaluated our focus markets, where our current and potential customers are, and built a global sales team. This team also acts as key account managers to improve our collaboration with our current customers. We currently focus on the United Kingdom, Spain, Nordic, and DACH regions. - Understanding our market better
We onboarded industry leaders to bring knowledge, expertise and experience into our strategies and processes. This was done to improve our understanding of the market as well as streamline our processes to serve existing and new customers better. We work with the industry guru Peter Rønde, who again has 30-plus years of experience in this market and is an OOH strategy consultant. For process improvement, we brought in Dean Shaw, who has over 30 years of experience in operations and market understanding. We also commissioned an industry learning report to look at our market unbiasedly and help us better identify our opportunities and threats.
What’s Next: We’re targeting emerging markets where the demand for reliable and automated solutions continues to rise. Our global partnerships will accelerate this growth for the entire industry.
3. A strong year of financial growth
In 2024, we became profitable after 4 years and exceeded our budget expectations to report strong revenue numbers. This growth reflects the growing trust of our clients and the increasing adoption of automated solutions worldwide.
- Diversified revenue streams
Service and maintenance agreements, alongside product sales, are driving steady, recurring income. - Overcoming operational challenges
Like many in our industry, we faced macroeconomic pressures, including rising input costs. However, we navigated these challenges by prioritizing cost efficiency and leveraging our scalable production model.
Looking forward, we aim to further optimise profitability in 2025 while continuing to invest in innovation and customer success.
8 months as Cleveron CEO has only strengthened my belief in the transformative power of our products for the click-and-collect industry. With unmatched expertise and years of innovation, Cleveron is the sole provider of robotic parcel lockers that offer customers a competitive edge no one can replicate.

4. New website to serve our customers better
We launched a new website in the second quarter of 2024 to better communicate our offerings and product solutions.
- Dynamic new look
Cleveron brand name has been synonymous with innovation in the parcel locker industry. With this new website, we brought that approach to how we present our products online. It also gave us a chance to have a more customisable backend and a faster content distribution process. - Improved user flows and analytics
With the new website, we have a more scientific user journey that will help visitors consume content better. The site offers intuitive user flows, allowing visitors to view our offerings easily.
5. Strengthening Leadership in Technology and Sustainability
We believe that our success is measured not only financially but also by our impact on the industry and the environment.
- Building a legacy of innovation
With over 150 intellectual property rights secured, Cleveron continues to lead the way in robotics and automation. Our participation in Robolahing 2024 reaffirmed our commitment to nurturing the next generation of robotics talent. - Sustainability at the core
From energy-efficient designs to battery-powered solutions, our sustainability initiatives are integrated into every aspect of our operations. We recognise that the logistics industry is critical in reducing global emissions, and we’re proud to be part of the solution.- Our product team attended the Circular Design Masterclass programme, which started in May and lasted six months. During the programme, our team’s objective was to understand the application of circular design, define where we stand, and learn how to improve. The jury recognised us as one of the top three participants out of ten.
- For the first time, we released Cleveron’s general policy for climate change mitigation, as well as our goals, metrics, and KPIs.
6. Hitting new milestones in 2024
In 2024, we have achieved remarkable milestones, reflecting the industry’s growth and adoption.
- Around 50% increase in parcels handled
We have seen greater adoption of our parcel lockers and handle 50% more parcels than in 2023. This shows rising demand for tech first, last-mile solutions. - Across the globe installations
Our installation and production teams have had a busy year traveling to over 300 cities for installations. It’s also essential to mention our production, sales, and distribution partners, who made this happen.

As package volumes continue to grow exponentially, the entire market is expected to shift more towards robotic parcel lockers for enhanced efficiency. - Innovating for the future
We have a dedicated team that continues to look at the industry demands and how our customers’ needs are evolving through the years. They will continue their work to anticipate new trends and work on innovations. - Addressing evolving market needs
