Senior Business Controller

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Business Controller to act as the architect of our management accounting and the commercial conscience of the company.

You will not just “report the news” but actively shape the systems, automate data flows, and validate the business logic behind our decisions.

What will your role be in our team?

  • Design and lead the management accounting architecture framework for cost centers, allocation logic, and granular product/service customer-based profitability (P&L)
  • Act as the final quality checkpoint for financial integrity and control by reviewing critical period-end figures (accruals, revenue recognition, and provisions) before the books are locked
  • Conduct deep-dive performance and root-cause analysis on variances between actuals and budget, providing insights that go beyond the surface numbers, and prepare detailed monthly financial summaries for the CFO and Management Board
  • Monitor and manage foreign exchange risks and exposures, ensuring that currency fluctuations in global sales and procurement do not erode our margins
  • Drive the annual forecasting and planning through the budgeting process, and manage the 12-month Rolling Forecast to ensure financial agility in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure investment governance by validating and rebuilding pricing models from scratch, and perform rigorous IRR calculations for CAPEX projects to guarantee capital efficiency before any investment is made
  • Act as a profitability guardrail by continuously monitoring margins and proactively escalating “Red Flags” regarding trends or deals that threaten long-term profitability
  • Foster a cost-conscious culture and value-driven mindset across all departments, acting as a trusted advisor to the CFO and Management Board
  • Provide strategic decision support by transforming Power BI dashboards from descriptive reports into predictive, actionable tools that drive management decisions

What skills do we expect from you?

  • 5+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Audit
  • A “builder” mindset – you enjoy fixing processes, not just running them
  • Advanced Excel skills are mandatory, experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools) and ERP systems is highly valued
  • Courage to challenge stakeholders when the numbers don’t add up
  • Strong analytical capability to act as a strategic advisor to Management
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

What we offer you?

  • A unique opportunity to make a global impact directly from Estonia, working at the decision-making table where global strategy is defined
  • The chance to build systems rather than just maintain them, joining us at a pivotal moment to reset our financial baseline
  • One week of paid extra vacation in addition to the standard annual leave
  • A flexible and supportive work environment
  • Fun and engaging team events
  • A values-based work culture
