Senior Business Controller

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Business Controller to act as the architect of our management accounting and the commercial conscience of the company.

You will not just “report the news” but actively shape the systems, automate data flows, and validate the business logic behind our decisions.

What will your role be in our team?

  • Design and lead the Management Accounting framework, owning the logic for cost centers, allocations, and product/project profitability
  • Take our existing Power BI dashboards to the next level by enhancing standards and turning descriptive reports into actionable decision-making tools
  • Act as the final quality checkpoint for pre-closing figures, such as accruals and revenue recognition, before the period is officially locked
  • Prepare detailed monthly financial summaries for the CFO and Management Board, focusing on insights rather than just numbers
  • Perform root-cause analysis on variances between actuals and budget, and manage the 12-month Rolling Forecast to ensure accuracy
  • Validate pricing models and perform strict IRR calculations for CAPEX projects to ensure capital efficiency before investment decisions are made
  • Continuously analyze margins and proactively escalate “Red Flags” regarding trends or deals that threaten profitability
  • Drive the company-wide annual budgeting process and foster a cost-conscious mindset across the organization

What skills do we expect from you?

  • 5+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Audit
  • A “builder” mindset – you enjoy fixing processes, not just running them
  • Advanced Excel skills are mandatory, experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools) and ERP systems is highly valued
  • Courage to challenge stakeholders when the numbers don’t add up
  • Strong analytical capability to act as a strategic advisor to Management
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

What we offer you?

  • A unique opportunity to make a global impact directly from Estonia, working at the decision-making table where global strategy is defined
  • The chance to build systems rather than just maintain them, joining us at a pivotal moment to reset our financial baseline
  • One week of paid extra vacation in addition to the standard annual leave
  • A flexible and supportive work environment
  • Fun and engaging team events
  • A values-based work culture
