General Counsel
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on General Counsel to build and manage Cleveron’s global legal and compliance framework.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead a Legal & Compliance Team to ensure our business operations across 50+ countries are secure, compliant, and scalable.
What will your role be in our team?
- Architect and negotiate international commercial agreements across all business areas, including Sales, Service, and Supply Chain
- Oversee the company’s Intellectual Property protection strategy to ensure that proprietary technology and innovations are legally secured across global markets
- Support and advise the Management and Supervisory Board in corporate matters
- Represent the company in legal and compliance processes, managing legal relationships with customers and partners worldwide
- Design and implement a comprehensive global compliance framework covering product-specific regulations, international taxes, and country-specific legal requirements
- Ensure the business stays ahead of evolving global regulations, including product standards, data privacy, and trade compliance
- Oversee the execution of ISO audits and guarantee that all follow-up and corrective actions are fully integrated into business processes
- Act as a critical analytical partner for new business cases by evaluating high-volume tender documentation to identify risks and provide strategic recommendations
- Manage Cleveron’s global insurance portfolio, ensuring alignment with our international footprint and risk management strategies
What skills do we expect from you?
- Master’s Degree in Law
- 5+ years of experience in a senior legal or compliance leadership role within an international environment, preferably in the tech or manufacturing sector
- A high degree of ownership and a proactive “can-do” attitude—you are a self-starter who drives the agenda without needing constant supervision
- Proven analytical prowess to process vast amounts of information and translate complex legal and regulatory language into business-enabling decisions
- Experience in systemic thinking and building frameworks from the ground up, including ISO management and global compliance systems
- Professional fluency in both English and Estonian (written and spoken)
