The President of the Republic of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid, visited Cleveron’s first client in Latin America – Falabella Retail.
President Kersti Kaljulaid, who was on an official state visit to Chile, stopped by Falabella’s Los Dominicos store on January 16th. During her visit, she tried out the Cleveron 402 parcel robot, which offers a fully automated parcel pickup service to Falabella’s customers. The solution is the first of its kind in Chile and serves an integral role in Falabellas omnichannel strategy.

The fast parcel loading mode enables to insert a parcel in just seven seconds – a crucial factor for companies that handle hundreds or thousands of parcels each day. Saving time on parcel pickup adds value to the customer shopping experience. According to a recent study, customers who wait less than two minutes to get their order are more than four times as likely to return to the store than customers kept waiting for 10 minutes or more.
Falabella Group was founded in 1889 and is currently active in seven Latin American countries. In the fiscal year 2018, the company generated approximately US $13.3 billion in revenue. The percentage of online sales increased by 70%, reaching US$ 823 million within the last twelve months. Falabella Retail is the largest Latin American retail platform, with over 100 shopping malls in countries such as Chile, Peru, Colombia and Argentina. Cleveron and Falabella started their cooperation in the summer of 2019 when the first Cleveron 402 was launched in Santiago.
